Ask any sneaker enthusiast about the Nike Dunk and you're bound to get a litany of responses ranging from praise for the timeless build to criticism for the countless colorways that followed the model's mainstream adoption.

The latest Nike Dunk Low honors Lisa Leslie, basketball icon and the first WNBA player to dunk on the court. During her career, Leslie earned three MVP awards and played in two WNBA Championships and eight All-Star teams before being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

The Nike Dunk Low "Lisa Leslie" comes in a Los Angeles Sparks colorway with a golden yellow base, "Court Purple" overlays and hits of "Clear Emerald" on the Swoosh and branding. Other design details include a satin tongue, Leslie's No. 9 embroidered at the heel, black laces and a black outsole.

With a punchy colorway that harkens back to Y2K era Dunks and a much-deserved homage to an iconic female athlete, the "Lisa Leslie" Dunk checks all the boxes. The shoe is rumored to release on July 30, marking the 20th anniversary of her historic dunk.
