Leva Bonaparte Opening New Bar in Charleston
She’s at it again! Southern Hospitality star Leva Bonaparte just announced that she’s opening another bar in Charleston. For those keeping track at home, that makes five establishments under her belt. She and her hubby own Bourbon N’ Bubbles, Mesu, Lamar’s Sporting Club, and of course, Republic Garden & Lounge.
The latest entry in their Charleston takeover is called Zachary’s Daiquiris. That just rolls off the tongue, right? Just like the rest of Leva’s business, it’s also coming to King Street. At this point, they’re going to rename the whole thing to Bonaparte Boulevard.
Chic, frozen cocktails
The newest entry in Leva’s business portfolio is focused on frozen cocktails with over 12 options, including nonalcoholic. The idea arrived via a partner named Zachary Elliot. In an interview with The Post and Courier, he opened up about the new concept that he pitched to the Republic Development & Management. He’s been a part of the crew since 2022 and just got the green light for his “chic frozen daiquiri” concept. Thus, Zacahary’s Daiquris was born.
“We’re really just trying to bring something new to King Street,” Zachary shared of the space, which will also serve bar food to soak up those frozen drinks.
In addition to being a new destination for a good time, there’s also a good cause behind Zachary’s Daiquiris. As a child, he overcame bone cancer after being told he had a 10% chance of survival. Therefore, a portion of the proceeds from the bar will go towards childhood cancer organizations.
Leva and Zachary didn’t share an exact opening date, but this sounds like the perfect summer destination. Fingers crossed it’s soon. In the meantime, keep an eye out on Leva’s socials for more information on the new bar.
