Les Benjamins SS23 Uncovers the Mystery of "The Horse of the East"

Inspired by the East and the West's shared reverence for horse-racing, Les Benjamins nods to the special sport for its Spring/Summer 2023 collection.

The assortment of garments skillfully references the pageantry both attendees and athletes display. Reminiscing on his partner's childhood spent treating races like fashion shows, creative director Bunyamin Aydin shares, "It's a mysterious approach on who and what the horse is and what it is about. The horse race and the ceremony."

The gathering subtly emphasizes its function with the help of bomber jackets and smartly tailored shorts, mirroring a jockey's uniform. Elsewhere, spacious wide-legged pants for trackside viewing are adorned with horseshoes and silhouettes of a stallion's head, alongside a matching jacket. A stunning plunging crochet maxi dress is painted in a bright sky blue hue, eliciting a casual elegance, while a glistening cropped blazer is loosely joined with a severe metal chain. A Turkish print makes a handful of appearance across the collection, adding warmth.
