Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy Teaser Trailer Sets Release Date for Disney+ Special
Disney+ has released the official Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy teaser trailer for its upcoming four-part animated special, which will be available for streaming on September 13.
The video highlights an alternate reality, where fan-favorite Star Wars characters — including Jar Jar Binks — start unexpectedly turning to the dark side. This marks the latest installment to Lucasfilm and the LEGO Group’s popular signature branded cross-saga storytelling series, which includes Star Wars Terrifying Tales, Star Wars Holiday Special and LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation.
“In the animated special, the entire Star Wars Galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling, unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple,” reads the synopsis. “He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together.”

Who’s involved in Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy?
Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is executive produced by showrunners Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, with Chris Buckley directing the special. It will feature the voices of Gaten Matarazzo as Sig Greebling, Tony Revolori as Dev Greebling, Bobby Moynihan as Jedi Bob, Marsai Martin as Yesi Scala, Michael Cusack as Servo, Ahmed Best as Darth Jar Jar, and Star Wars vet Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. The special is executive produced by James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, Josh Rimes, Jill Wilfert, Jason Cosler and Keith Malone, with Daniel Cavey and Dan Langlois producing.
