Having said that, a 2023 Variety report did claim that the director duo of Aaron and Adam Nee has been onboarded to oversee another installment in the series. The media outlet also stated that the third edition could be a live-action and animation hybrid. Consequently, a third LEGO film, with a different narrative from its predecessors, could soon go under development.
Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks reprised their roles from the first film, voicing the characters of Emmet and Lucy, respectively. The supporting cast of the sequel also featured Will Arnett, Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, Alison Brie, Nick Offerman, and more.
