On Monday, May 6, the biggest stars of Hollywood will join in extravagant and dramatic looks at the 2024 Met Gala. Co-hosted by Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez and Anna Wintour, the night will be surely one to remember.

Among the A-list guests of the night, there will be Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez, who will be making her Met Gala debut. And while her first time there must exciting for her, there was reportedly one condition the Vogue editor-in-chief had to invite her to the gala. According to reports, Wintour invited her only if she helped her pick her outfit, per Back Row.

Per the insider, Wintour and Sanchez are currently trying to select her dress and are “choosing between custom looks by Oscar de la Renta and two other designers.”

If you’re reading this scratching your head as to why, it seems Wintour, who doesn’t usually get involved in what her guests wear, believes Sánchez has “poor taste.” Ouch!

Previously, reports had already hinted that Wintour had taken Sánchez under her wing for a style transformation. In fact, insiders even claimed Wintour had gotten close to the pair and was ready to name Bezos and Sánchez “America’s new royalty” at her upcoming gala, per Page Six. Looks like the Wintour style transformation is in full effect with this upcoming look!

Sánchez’s last red carpet look, which was for a state dinner at the White House on April 10, received quite a bit of attention by how revealing it was. That night, Sánchez rocked a deep red Rasario dress with a plunging lace neckline and a figure-hugging silk skirt. And while we think she looked stunning, it seems Wintour couldn’t wait to get her hands on it. We can’t wait to see what Wintour-approved look she wears on Monday!
