Lady Gaga brought the house down at the 2019 Grammys with a high-energy performance of her (already two-time Grammy-winning) song "Shallow" from the A Star Is Born soundtrack.

Clad in a silver sparkling body suit with matching eye shadow, Gaga hit the stage with her "Shallow" co-songwriters Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt. Ronson played the guitar part performed by Bradley Cooper's character, Jackson Maine, in the movie. Cooper had to miss the Grammys to attend today's BAFTA ceremony in London, where A Star Is Born took home the prize for Best Film Music.

"Shallow" and A Star Is Born are collectively sweeping awards season; "Shallow" won two Grammys at tonight's show (for Best Song Written for Visual Media
and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance) and won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song and the Critics' Choice Award for Best Song back in January. (Gaga also won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Actress). The movie is also nominated for eight Oscars this year, including "Shallow" for Best Original Song and Lady Gaga for Best Actress.

During her speech to accept the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Lady Gaga gave a tearful shoutout to co-star Bradley Cooper ("Bradley, I loved singing this song with you") and made a moving appeal for mental health awareness:

"If I don't get another chance to say this, I just want to say I'm so proud to be a part of a movie that addresses mental health issues. They're so important. A lot of artists deal with that. And we gotta take care of each other. So if you see somebody that's hurting, don't look away. And if you're hurting, even though it might be hard, try to find that bravery within yourself to dive deep and go tell somebody and take them up in your head with you.

"Shallow" is still pending two wins at tonight's Grammys: Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
