Tyler Cameron isn’t just a former “Bachelorette” contestant. Since his TV debut as a fan-favorite on Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette” on ABC five years ago, he’s only become more popular.

And for his next project, he's trading roses in for renovated houses.

Going Home with Tyler Cameron” is set to premiere on Amazon Prime later this month, with the Bachelor Nation favorite unveiling his most vulnerable project he’s worked on yet: his own show.

The famous Floridian has appeared in several TV shows since his “Bachelorette” days in 2019. When he isn’t giving Bachelor Nation googly eyes or competing in intense strength competitions, the Florida Atlantic University alum is a general contractor and owner of Image 1 Construction in his hometown of Jupiter.

Here’s what Tyler had to say in an interview with USA TODAY Network-Florida about his upcoming show, what it’s about and which "Bachelor" alumni you can look forward to seeing as guest stars.

What is Tyler Cameron doing now?

After the unexpected loss of his mother in 2020, Cameron moved back home to Jupiter, Florida, to be near his family and fulfill his goal of starting his own home construction and renovation company.

His new show on Amazon Prime is a hybrid reality-docuseries that follows Cameron’s journey “from bachelor, to builder, to businessman.”

And Tyler is excited to share his hometown with viewers.

“Jupiter is a special place, it's a place that I cherish … It'll be forever home to me.” Cameron told USA TODAY’s Florida network.

“To bring (viewers) home with me through this show, take them to Jupiter to see my friends, my family and what makes Jupiter so special… I'm excited because it's truly a remarkable place and I think once people see this show and see it, they're gonna fall in love with it, too.”

The former “Bachelorette” heartthrob has been working on this show since he moved home four years ago and said it was more challenging than filming “The Bachelorette” or even “Special Forces.”

"It made ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘Special Forces’ a breeze,” Cameron said.

"This was the hardest thing I've ever (done) because you're renovating homes, you're putting your money up, you're putting other people's money up… You're managing clients, you're managing a production team to film it. You're managing a construction team to build it and a design team to put it together … It's just a lot of moving pieces, a lot of moving parts (and) a lot of personalities to try and blend and keep the harmony."

What happened to Tyler Cameron's mom?

In 2020, Tyler Cameron’s mom, Andrea Cameron, suddenly passed away due to a brain aneurysm.

His new show not only follows Cameron as he and his “Bachelor” nation friends renovate local homes, but also follows his journey in renovating the house his mom left to him.

It was supposed to be her dream house, and was paid off just before she passed. Cameron said the process of renovating was bittersweet.

"The whole goal of the show was to surprise her and the crazy story behind it all is we were going to film the sizzle reel for this show. And the day before we did that, my mother passed away,” Cameron said.  “And the week before that, my dad gave her the last payment for the house, like 'It's officially paid off. It's yours.' My whole thing was I was gonna surprise her with the renovation."

"It was tough. It was hard but we still made it to what she would have wanted it to be...  It was very bittersweet in the sense that I would love to give her those keys."

What happened with Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown?

Cameron was cast for season 15 of “The Bachelorette” in 2019, with Hannah Brown leading the season. At the time of filming, he was 26 years old and listed his occupation as a "general contractor” – which remains true.

Throughout the season, Cameron quickly rose up in both Brown's and Bachelor Nation's rankings. By mid-season, he was dubbed as a fan favorite due to his charisma, his quickness to shut down drama created by fan-chosen villain Luke Pell and his romantic actions towards Hannah.

He ended up making it to the final two spots. But shockwaves were felt around the reality television universe when Cameron exited the limo on the final episode and Brown turned down his proposal.

Since then, the pair have both maintained that they are on good terms after everything they have been through.

And that seems to be true, as she was one of the friends Tyler “called in a favor from” for his new show (along with his fellow “Bachelor” star bestie, Matt James).

Brown was brought in to help with the interior design of a home for a local woman, Karen, who is a big fan of hers and “The Bachelor” franchise.

"For Hannah, I had to call in a favor because we were in a pickle, we had too many renovations going on. My designer couldn't help out on that house. And I was like, 'I'm not designing this house. I need you,'" Cameron said.

“She was so professional. She came in, gave a beautiful design and she was great to Karen… There were tears, tons of tears when Karen and Dan got into the bedroom, so it worked out perfectly."
