With an opening weekend of $59 million, Kung Fu Panda 4 became the series’ second-biggest debut. Furthermore, the introduction of new characters in the latest edition hints at the franchise growing further in the coming future. Directors Mike Mitchell and Stephanie Ma-Stine have also publicly stated that Po’s story is most likely to have another chapter in the years to come.
