…And Just Like That star Kristin Davis is enjoying the natural look in one of her favorite locations. The actor just posted a picture from her travels in which she appears totally at ease and happily makeup-free.

“Jet lagged, but the Kenya hair is worth it ❤️ #throwback,” Davis captioned the picture. Gazing placidly at the camera, Davis wears a pink shirt over a maroon tank top and lets her voluminous brown hair catch the sunlight. She appears to be on a porch.

Davis, who lives in Los Angeles, visits Kenya often as part of her work in wildlife preservation. She showed the glow the country gives her in February as well, with another beautiful makeup-free pic. “Kenya hair still in effect… Sending love to all in SoCal ♥️,” she wrote, referencing the flooding the region was experiencing at the time.

It’s lovely to see Kristin Davis at ease in her skin, as she’s dealt with the same insecurities that plague so many, and with the added pressure of the public giving their unsolicited opinions on her looks.

Last year Davis gave a candid interview about her cosmetic procedures. After being “ridiculed relentlessly” over her looks, Davis said, “It’s hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times…. And it’s a challenge to remember that you don’t have to look like that. The internet wants you to—but they also don’t want you to. They’re very conflicted.

“I have done fillers and it’s been good, and I’ve done fillers and it’s been bad,” she added. “I’ve had to get them dissolved and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It’s very stressful.”

Her experience with lip fillers was particularly illuminating. “No one told me it didn’t look good for the longest time,” she revealed, adding, “Luckily I do have good friends who did say eventually—the thing is you don’t smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people.”
