Kristen Stewart Reveals Details Behind Her and Fiancée Dylan Meyer’s Vintage-Inspired Engagement Rings

In an interview on the 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast, Stewart said that she and Meyer have a “very loose plan” for their wedding

Kristen Stewart just shared details on her meaningful engagement ring.

In a recent interview on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch, the Love Lies Bleeding star said her fiancée, screenwriter Dylan Meyer, proposed to her with a vintage-like ring, which can be seen in a selfie shared to Hirsch’s Instagram on Tuesday.

“This is embarrassing,” the Twilight alum, 33, said bashfully while talking about her rock. “It’s based on an old sketch, but it actually is new.”

When Hirsch asked Stewart if she also got her partner a ring, the actress revealed that the pair have the “same one, but with a different stone in it.”

Stewart also talked about where she and Meyer are right now in their wedding planning. “We’re both really casual people, so we did this sweeping traditional thing where we were like, ‘Marry me,’ [and] ‘You marry me’ and then we just never like planned a wedding because we were like, we kind of [already] did it,” she admitted. “But we’ll do it. We have a very loose plan which is appropriate to us.”

But, Stewart noted that she and Meyer won’t be hitting the altar until she is done directing her indie film, The Chronology of Water, which is adapted from author Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoir and is a project Stewart has been pursuing for the past six years.

The pair met on the set of a 2013 movie, but reunited at a friend’s birthday party six years later. They announced their “pandemic engagement” in November 2021, Stewart sharing in multiple interviews that she wanted to be the one who got proposed to.

While appearing on The Howard Stern Show that year, Stewart gave some insight on how the sweet moment went down.

"I wasn't specific at all. It's not a given that I would be the one. You know what I mean? With two girls, you never know like who's going to fulfill what weird f---ing gender role thing. We don't do that or think about it in those terms. She just grabbed that bowl and made it happen. It was f---ing so cute."

Then, on Live with Kelly and Ryan, she said she and Meyer did have an engagement party, which she was “thankful for."

Stewart and Meyer recently had a glam date night out at the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscars Awards Dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel earlier this month. The actress kept up with her sexy style streak, wearing a sheer top over a bra and white pleated shorts, while Meyer chose a satiny boat and a collared top.
