KISS announces final tour, again

KISS kicked off the live finale of America’s Got Talent by performing “Detroit Rock City” and announcing a finale of its own. The band, which has been rocking for 45 years, announced a final “End of the Road” tour.

The “End of the Road” tour will be different from the original final “KISS Farewell” tour, which ran from 2000 to 2001. That tour featured all four original members: Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss.

The current KISS group comprises original members Simmons and Criss, as well as longtime replacements Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer.

Stanley announced, “This is going to be our last tour. It will be the most explosive, biggest show we’ve ever done. People who love us come see us. If you’ve never seen us, this is the time. This will be the show.”

No tour dates have been set but the group will make an announcement in the coming weeks on their official website. So if you want to see KISS in concert, you better get your tickets before Paul Stanley breaks all his guitars.

America’s Got Talent aired Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of America’s Got Talent for free on Yahoo View.
