The actress and late-night host recounted the dispute during Thursday's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Kirsten Dunst and Jimmy Kimmel's sons had a fight intense enough that it became the subject of a parent-teacher conference.

Dunst appeared on Thursday's episode of Kimmel's late-night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, during which they revealed that her eldest son, 5-year-old Ennis, and Kimmel's 6-year-old son, Billy, attend the same kindergarten.

"I got to say," Kimmel said, "I'm a little taken aback because you look quite lovely and you're all dressed up and I'm used to seeing you at like —

"Circle Time?" Dunst quipped.

"Circle Time, yeah," Kimmel replied before adding, "They had a fight, you know? Did you hear about this?"

“I heard in our parent-teacher conference," Dunst confirmed. "Ms. Julie told me about it. I know that Billy was sitting in a chair and Ennis then went to sharpen a pencil or something. Came back, saw there was an empty chair and sat in it, and Billy came back and was mad that Ennis was in his chair.”

Kimmel, who had heard a similar story, said, "There was a displacement there and they both cried."

Dunst then clarified that the incident was the only instance of drama between the two otherwise "very sweet" boys.

The Civil War star also has a 2-year-old son, James, with her husband, Jesse Plemons, and called her youngest child a "baby Chris Farley." "

"He’s just hilarious," she said, admitting that she's afraid for James to begin school. "He’s just, like, a crazy little dude."

News of Ennis and Billy's quarrel is the latest to emerge in the "celebrity kids drama" genre. The Lost City costars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum previously revealed that their daughters had preschool beef. In fact, Bullock told James Corden that she met Tatum for the first time in the principal's office following some trouble between her 11-year-daughter, Laila, and Tatum's 9-year-old daughter, Everly.

"We have two very, very strong-willed little girls that, you know, at that young age were very much buttin' heads," Tatum said, with Bullock adding that working on their movie together helped the kids patch things up.

"That's the reason we did this film — so they could have one long, COVID-safe play date," Bullock said. "We even brought motorbikes down there. All we cared about is that Everly and Laila were just having the time of their lives."

Elsewhere in her chat with Kimmel, Dunst talked about her kids watching her in the Spider-Man movies and receiving a Christmas tree from her Interview With a Vampire costar Tom Cruise. Watch more in the interview above.
