Kim Kardashian Is Embracing Her Single Era After Reported Breakup With Odell Beckham Jr.

Fans shouldn’t look for Kim Kardashian to arrive with Odell Beckham Jr. on Monday’s Met Gala red carpet because it appears that the short-lived couple have gone their separate ways. The romance didn’t appear to be super serious, but the SKIMS founder and the NFL star tried to keep their relationship off the radar as much as possible.
An insider revealed why the former duo decided to go their separate ways after first being linked together in September 2023. “Kim and Odell have been doing their own things lately,” the source told Entertainment Tonight. “Kim is so busy and hasn’t been putting any pressure on herself to be committed to anyone or in a serious relationship. She is all about being a hands-on mom.” It sounds like an amicable split because the Kardashian pal added that Kim and Beckham their friendship is still a top priority.

“Kim and Odell have always been open and honest about their future, whether that be together or separate,” they continued. “They had a good thing and there aren’t any hard feelings on either side. They started as friends and still are. They will continue to be respectful of each other’s spaces, careers, families, and friends.” The last time the 43-year-old reality star and the 31-year-old athlete were seen together was after the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March.
Kim definitely has a history of dating athletes, but perhaps she wants to take Kelly Ripa’s 2022 dating advice. The daytime talk show host recommended that the billionaire level up with her relationship strategy by staying off “dating apps.” She said on Live With Kelly and Ryan (before Mark Consuelos joined the show), “You need a titan of industry. That’s what you need. That is what you are, and that is what you need. It’s a very small field but he’s out there, sitting here, watching this.”
At the time, she was coming off her relationship with Pete Davidson and her divorce from Kanye West, and she admitted she was “not ready” to dive into another romance. But she also thought about what she wanted for the future. “I did say before, maybe I should try to date a doctor or a scientist,” she responded to Ripa. “So maybe a bunch of attorneys or scientists would reach out.” It could be the most fascinating chapter for Kim if she takes Ripa’s advice the next time around.
