The Kardashian family more or less invented the #sponsored Instagram post - but that doesn't mean they're exempt from being criticized for what they choose to promote.

Just a week after Kendall Jenner faced major backlash for her controversial Pepsi ad, Kim Kardashian has decided to promote Diclegis - a prescription drug meant to fight morning sickness - in the oddest #TBT of all time, and people aren't happy about it.

As Refinery29 reports, the reality star originally promoted the same drug two years ago, back when she was pregnant with her son, Saint. The post prompted the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to issue a "warning letter" about the sponsored selfie, stating that it dangerously failed to provide any information about the drug's risks.

Well, Kim definitely took the FDA's warning to heart - because this time around, she's cut down on the glowing praise and instead included a very lengthy description of the drug's potential risks. As a result, many were quick to call her out for blatantly copy-pasting whatever information she'd been sent by Diclegis, causing the caption to seem incredibly robotic and not at all like Kim's usual voice.

Others criticized the star for the weird Photoshopping of the ad, and how unrealistic the whole thing looked: In the photo, she's holding her cellphone with a photo of her last Diclegis ad edited in.

Meanwhile, others were critical of Kim for promoting a morning sickness drug despite not being pregnant. (Unless it's her way of telling her she is?!) Of course, it's entirely possible that Kim really does feel strongly about the medication, and really wants to remind her followers of how helpful it was for her during her second pregnancy. But she's also probably getting a good chunk of change for promoting it, so who knows?
