Khloé Kardashian had the perfect response to a troll who commented on how she looked while working out.

In a recent Instagram video, the reality TV personality and entrepreneur detailed her workout routine in its extensive glory. The video included clips of the Kardashians star hitting the gym with her personal trainer and her 4-year-old daughter, True Thompson.

Although most of Kardashian’s 300 million followers responded positively, some took the post as an opportunity to criticize her appearance. One particularly mean-spirited troll asked, “Do you miss your old face?”

The 48-year-old shut them down with a one-word reply: “No.” To date, her comment has garnered more than 2,500 likes.

Kardashian also responded to another judgmental commenter, who wrote, “Try without a filter 😂.”

“What does a filter have to do with the workout, queen?” she pointed out.

Shortly after these exchanges, Kardashian shared an Amber Lyon quote about treating others with kindness to her Instagram Story.

“If you knew your words would attract more of what they spoke — would you choose to speak differently? The words we speak become the world we live in,” the quote read. “Whatever follows ‘I am’ we actively invite into our lives. Speak from a place of love and compassion for yourself and others.”

Kardashian’s appearance has shifted pretty drastically in recent years, but that is no excuse for body-shaming comments (or speculating on whether she’s had a “face transplant” — which she hasn’t, for the record).

Singer and body positivity advocate Lizzo declared commenting on celebrities’ bodies “out” for 2023, and for good reason: This disparaging talk only reinforces harmful, unrealistic beauty standards for women.

This isn’t the first time Kardashian has spoken publicly about her workout routine. In a recent interview, the Good American founder said her fitness journey was catalyzed by her 2013 divorce from her ex-husband, Lamar Odom. In the immediate aftermath, she became “obsessive” about working out and losing weight.

“I didn’t really know what to do,” Kardashian told InStyle. “Of course, in the beginning you [have to] get over that hump of it being really hard and something so new for you. But I felt so accomplished. I’m sort of a control freak, but in life we can’t control everything. But the gym, what I put in it, I know I’m going to get out of it.”

Over time, the mother of two has cultivated a healthier mindset around working out. For instance, she no longer weighs herself.

“I think it’s really unhealthy,” she added. “I haven’t [looked at the scale] in years. They’re just numbers.”
