Kenneth Cole Taps Former Foot Locker CMO Jed Berger as New President to Help Fuel Next Stage of Growth

Kenneth Cole is embarking on its 40th anniversary next year with the help of a new president.

Jed Berger joined in September and will be reporting to founder and executive chairmen Kenneth Cole.

Berger’s most recent role was at Foot Locker Inc. as its chief marketing officer. He was at the company for more than 10 years.

Kenneth Cole’s previous group president of men’s and women’s footwear, Roberto Zamarra is no longer with the company.

In summer 2021, Kenneth Cole Productions entered into new licensing partnerships with Eastman Footwear Group Inc. and Vida Shoes International Inc. for men’s and women’s footwear. Beginning with spring ’22, Eastman became responsible for the development, sourcing, production and sales of all Kenneth Cole men’s shoes under the Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction and Unlisted labels. Vida Shoes, meanwhile,  handles the same responsibilities for the women’s footwear lines under the three labels. Vida will also oversee the development, sourcing, production and sales for the Gentle Souls label for both men and women.
