Kendrick Lamar is back again with another diss track aimed at Drake. The new song, “6:16 in LA,” is currently available only on Lamar’s Instagram. Head there to hear it.

Perhaps the most pointed diss in Lamar’s “6:16 in LA” is the track’s title. It’s a play on the time-and-location-themed songs that Drake favors. Over the years, the Canadian artist has named songs “9AM in Dallas, “5am in Toronto,” “6PM in New York,” “4pm in Calabasas,” “7am on Bridle Path,” and “8am in Charlotte.”

It’s been rumored online that Jack Antonoff and his Red Hearse bandmate Sounwave co-produced “6:16 in LA.” A representative for Antonoff confirmed to Pitchfork that the longtime Taylor Swift collaborator did, in fact, work on the song.

Lamar began this week with “Euphoria,” his response after Drake dissed him on “Push Ups” and the since-deletedTaylor Made Freestyle.” The Torontonian has yet to formally answer his Compton counterpart with a new song, but he seemed to respond by posting online a clip from the movie 10 Things I Hate About You. The rappers have been actively feuding since Lamar took some shots at Drake on the chart-toppingLike That.”

Catch up on the situation with Alphonse Pierre’s article “A Power Ranking of Everyone in the Drake–Kendrick Lamar–Every Rapper Ever Battle Royale.”

Over a soulful Al Green flip, Kendrick stays on offense by peacefully dismantling Drake’s whole situation.
