Kelly Osbourne, Kate Middleton

Kelly Osbourne can now be added to the list of celebrities speaking out in defense of Kate Middleton amid the princess' battle with cancer and ongoing conspiracies surrounding her health.

After slamming the "disgusting conspiracy theories" that later became known as "#KateGate" and were too "cruel" to discuss with the rest of her family on a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast, the 39-year-old issued a firm message to the public about respecting people's privacy.

"Medical privacy, I think, is really, really important, and everyone deserves it," Kelly began, going on to explain how her family can relate firsthand to the princess' treatment.

"I don't feel as though Dad has ever been afforded his medical privacy," she said of her 75-year-old father, Ozzy Osbourne, and his experience publicly battling Parkinson's disease the last four years.

"They wait for him to go into the doctor's office and take pictures," she added.

Her mom Sharon agreed, even detailing a rather unnerving incident she said occurred not too long ago.

"I lost my cool with the guy," Sharon, 71, said. "And I never usually do with photographers, but we were in an underground car park, and he followed us in, watched us, the big cameras came out, and I just said, ‘Leave him some dignity, would you? F--- off!’ And he didn’t, and I just said, ‘Shame on you. What do you want? He’s going to see his doctor.’"

Ozzy was first diagnosed with the degenerative central nervous system disorder in 2003, but like the Princess of Wales, he waited to go public with the news. Unlike Kate, it wasn't for many years that the rocker broke the news with the public, opening up about his battle in 2020.

Other big names that have used their platform to defend the 42-year-old royal and her request for privacy include Jamie Lee Curtis, Whoopi Goldberg, Halsey, Shannen Doherty and the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, among others.

Several celebrities have also walked back their comments that either fueled or mocked the conspiracy theories, namely Andy Cohen, Stephen Colbert and Blake Lively.
