Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Reunite with a Couples Style Moment in Rome

Just when you thought Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were over, the on-again couple emerged with a style moment. This weekend, the pair enjoyed a blissful trip to Vatican City, where they attended the Cura Foundation’s fourth annual Unite to Cure event. Though it was a far cry from the red carpet—the event raises awareness about heath care access, alternative therapies, and the impact of emerging medical technologies—Perry, who discussed the benefits of transcendental meditation and heard Pope Francis speak, came prepared. She left the colorful costumes she's known for at home, striking a demure chord in a black lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana. A floral embellished pillbox hat from Gladys Tamez Millinery and diamond studs completed the look. Bloom kept things professional, too, with a pared-down black suit and matching skinny tie.

The pair made the most of their time in Italy by squeezing in some time to see Rome's famous tourist attractions, including the Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum. Perry dressed the part, pairing a cream striped dress from Maje with and a playful mini-bucket bag from Paravel, cat-eye sunglasses, and a straw hat of Jacquemus proportions rendering her almost incognito. So did Bloom, who kept his color schemes in sync even while wearing a near-identical black suit by ditching his dress shoes for a coordinating—and comfortable—pair of tan Nikes.
