Katie Holmes and Suri Coordinate in Baggy Denim for Rainy Day in NY

Suri Cruise is taking style cues from her stylish mother, Katie Homes.

The duo coordinated in baggy denim looks for a rainy day in New York City today.

The Dawson’s Creek alum’s choice of denim was a pair of blue high-waisted bell-bottom jeans. She wore them with a cozy tan sweater with a bulky ribbed turtleneck. And over it, she layered on a breezy beige trench coat. The light-weight outerwear also matched the tone of Holmes’s leather shoulder bag. The actor finished her casually sophisticated fit with black Adidas Sambas, a black belt, and oval tortoiseshell sunglasses—as well as her favorite tiny gold earrings and nose hoop.

Holmes’s 18-year-old daughter took a more street-style approach to her ensemble, wearing her baggy blue jeans with a workwear-inspired denim jacket featuring big pockets and a tan suede collar. Underneath, she wore a white graphic cropped tee. For footwear, Cruise kept it practical with a pair of tan suede Birkenstock clogs, and like her mom, accessorized with some simple gold jewelry.

The mother-daughter-duo after often seen out together in the city. Last month, they were photographed wearing totally different looks while on a coffee run. Then, Holmes opted for a preppy fit composed of a sweater layered over a button-up and paired with wide-leg jeans and Adidas Sambas. And Cruise went full boho in a patterned maxi dress, brown boots, and the same denim jacket she pulled out today.
