Kanye West appeared in an exclusive interview with Justin Laboy recently where he spoke on Chris Brown and his level of talent.

West sat down with the viral Instagram meme-maker for his new show, The Download, where he discussed a multitude of topics including his disdain for certain folks, his latest music, and the current rap beefs taking place. The conversation also included the global superstar praising Breezy and reflecting on his new song “Carnival” that mentions the R&B phenom and Taylor Swift.

The lyrics in question go: “I mean, since Taylor Swift/ Since I had the Rollie on the wrist/ I’m the new Jesus, bi**h/ I turn water to Cris/ This for what they did to Chris/ They can’t do sh*t with this.”

“Chris is a god,” Kanye West spoke to Laboy about Brown, clarifying his line that refers to the industry blackballing him after his 2009 altercation with Rihanna.

Yeezy also spoke on the wave of rap beefs happening amongst music artists right now such as Kendrick Lamar and Drake, Quavo and Chris Brown, and others.

And as expected, West is all for it. He even went as far as to say that “everybody was very, very [energized] about the elimination of Drake.”

The Vultures rapper surprisingly hopped on a remix of Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” which helms a diss verse toward Drizzy and J. Cole.

On the track he raps, “Y’all so outta sight, outta mind/ I can’t even think of a Drake line/ Play J. Cole, get the pu**y dry/ Play this sh*t back a hundred-thirty times.”

Unclear of what may have provoked his input, his verse did bring much commentary.
