West's recent altercation with a man at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles has taken a surprising turn after new reports have claimed that he hit the wrong person. The rapper and Censori were at the location when a man allegedly proceeded to touch his wife inappropriately.

The lobby was busy then, implying that West couldn't see the assault occur in real-time. However, afterward, he approached the man who was seated with friends, confronted him, and allegedly punched him in the face twice. West and Censori quickly left the scene long before the police arrived at the hotel.

Now, it has been reported that West punched the wrong half of twins Mark and Jonnie Houston, who own top L.A. hotspots such as No Vacancy and  Good Times at Davey Wayne's.

One of the twins is presumed to be the individual who allegedly assaulted Censori, although it remains unclear which one committed the act and which one received the punch from West.

Following the incident, the victim filed a report to police, which began an investigation into what happened. West was then named as a battery suspect in the case, and the city attorney will review it to see if any official charges will be filed.

While West has yet to comment about the incident, a rep has said that the unidentified man triggered the rapper's reaction.

"The assailant didn't merely collide into her," they told the Daily Mail. "He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses."

The representative also alleged that it wasn't just a mere case of Censori being inappropriately touched, saying, "She was battered and sexually assaulted."

In the meantime, it has yet to be determined whether West will pursue a case of assault against the man for his actions towards Censori.

In January 2022, West encountered a similar scenario in which he faced potential charges after striking someone. At the time, he was named a suspect in a battery report.

According to People magazine, the incident occurred in front of the Soho Ware House in downtown Los Angeles shortly after West completed a studio session.

Subsequently, the rapper admitted to punching the person, claiming that the individual was not a fan but was instead "taking autographs to make money on them."

Despite initiating an investigation into the matter, the City Attorney's office decided not to pursue a case against West.

The rapper was arrested in 2014 for allegedly "punching" and "grabbing" the camera of a photographer at the Los Angeles International Airport.

He received a two-year probation, attended two dozen anger management sessions, and completed 250 hours of community service as punishment.

Another incident occurred in 2008 involving multiple photographers, resulting in West posting bail for $20,000.

The case was dropped after he paid for the damaged equipment and attended anger management classes.

West and Censori have already stepped out in public following the recent altercation. On Sunday afternoon, the couple was seen visiting the Cienega Med Spa for what appeared to be an R&R session.

According to The Sun, they arrived at the location in a Tesla Cybertruck and did not seem to have been followed by a bodyguard.

For the spa outing, Censori veered from her typical style of donning explicit clothing, wearing

layers of white robe-like fabric. However, the attire did reveal her long, slender legs, which she placed in a pair of open-toe platform heels.

Meanwhile, West was dressed in a hoodie and baggy sweatpants, which hung low enough to reveal his underwear. Both he and his partner appeared somber as they exited the spa after their appointment.
