So, Kanye Just Filed a New Trademark for YEEZY Sock Shoes

Kanye West has reportedly filed a new trademark for YEEZY SOCK SHOES, first spotted worn by the rapper on an outing in Los Angeles, alongside an unlikely fashion choice: a pair of leggings.

Papped just after his surprise YEEZY SEASON 10 presentation earlier this month, the rapper was seen wearing grey, scuba-style boots that seemingly appear to be his latest creation. According to reports, West applied for a new trademark on May 4, via an official filing to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The official application made by Ye's company, Mascotte Holdings, Inc., writes that the "YZY SOCK SHOES" trademark will be used to sell "Socks; socks with leather soles." The holdings company was first founded by West with his agent André Bodiford back in June 2004.

Little else is known about what the new trademark means for the future of YEEZY, but it appears that the rapper's affinity for fashion won't be going quietly. Stay tuned for further updates.

In other Ye news, adidas will continue to sell YEEZY products, while donating a portion of proceeds to charity.
