Kansas City FilmFest International celebrates 28 years in KC metro
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City’s flagship film festival, the Kansas City FilmFest International (KCFFI), is coming back to the metro for its 28th-year from April 11-14.
Located at AMC Ward Parkway 14, KCFFI will showcase more than 100 films and filmmakers from all over the world who will compete in front of judges and festival-goers. The competition, according to a press release, provides opportunities for artists to build connections, find inspiration and entertain audiences.

This year, KCFFI will also feature studio films from major production companies, like Amazon MGM Studios and Magnolia Pictures, and notable stars, like Anne Hathaway.
According to the release, KCFFI is the longest-standing and largest curated film festival hosted by Kansas City.
Individual tickets for KCFFI are $10 and allow audience’s to attend one movie in the festival.
An option for movie-lovers is also available with the purchase of a $45 Gold Pass. According to the release, this pass includes access to all films and the Filmmakers’ Lounge, as well as the ability to buy tickets online and in-person.
