Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Just Made Their Marriage Instagram Official
It looks like Justin Bieber has finally confirmed his marriage to Hailey Baldwin. The pop singer posted a photo of himself and Baldwin to Instagram on Thursday (November 15) and captioned it, "My wife is awesome." Yup, that's pretty much everything we need to know. Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are 100 percent married. The mystery is over.
And, seriously, what a mystery it was. In early July, the couple confirmed via Instagram that they were engaged, but the exact date of their wedding was still unknown. In mid-September, rumors swirled the couple acquired a marriage license at a New York courthouse; however, Baldwin took to Twitter shortly after and assured people she wasn't married yet. Even Ireland Baldwin, Hailey's cousin, didn't know if the two were married at that time.
In mid-October, though, a fan told Us Weekly that she asked Bieber and Baldwin if they were married after spotting them at a restaurant, and they said "yes." That seemed like a confirmation, but it still came from a source. Bieber's Instagram post is the first time either of them has acknowledged their marital status.
Baldwin revealed in September that she pictured her wedding in the woods with "lights strung everywhere." It's unclear if this ever happened.
"Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly," Bieber wrote on Instagram in July when he originally confirmed his engagement to Baldwin. "I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make."
