Jonathan Majors Supported by Girlfriend Meagan Good at His Sentencing Hearing in N.Y.C.

A source told PEOPLE in February that Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good "are solid and very much in love"

Meagan Good was at Jonathan Majors' side at his sentencing hearing in New York City.

Good, 42, was seen accompanying Majors, 34, to Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday, April 8, where Judge Michael Gaffey sentenced the former Marvel star to participate in a domestic violence treatment program after he was found guilty of assault and harassment back in December. The actor will attend a one-year “in person batterers” intervention program in Los Angeles and must continue mental health counseling and stay away from the victim in the criminal case, his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

Majors faced up to a year of jail time for his conviction, which stemmed from an alleged altercation between him and Jabbari, now 31, in New York City back in March 2023. In December, he was found guilty on misdemeanor assault in the third degree, recklessly causing physical injury as well as harassment in the second degree, which is a violation.

Majors and Good began dating in May 2023; a source told PEOPLE in February that the pair now live together in N.Y.C.'s Greenwich Village neighborhood, noting at the time that Majors and Good are "solid and very much in love."

Prior to Monday's sentencing hearing, the couple were most recently seen holding hands and snuggling up to each other at a park in N.Y.C. on April 5. Good has remained present for many of Majors' court appearances since they began dating.

The actress, who was previously married to ex-husband DeVon Franklin, 45, until their December 2021 split, opened up to PEOPLE about her love life when she and Majors stepped out together at the NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles on March 16.

“I'm in love, I’m transitioning, I’m healing, I’m growing [and] I’m getting excited about what's next,” she said. “Yeah, just a lot of things at once. But what I can say is, I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time.”

Jabbari sued Majors in March, alleging instances of abuse beyond the March 2023 incident at matter in the actor's December criminal trial, according to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE. “Mr. Majors is preparing counterclaims against Ms. Jabbari," Majors' attorney Priya Chaudhry said in response to the lawsuit.
