Jonathan Majors is facing another legal suit as part of the fallout of his domestic violence case.

Back in December, the embattled actor was found guilty of recklessly causing physical injury, misdemeanor assault in the third degree, and harassment in the second degree after an altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

Jabbari has now filed a slew of charges against the "Creed III" star as he awaits sentence for the earlier case.

Majors had quite a tumultuous 2023, as he was deeply embroiled in a legal crisis that arose from his altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Jabbari.

It reached its peak in December as the actor was found guilty of some of the charges, including misdemeanor assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree.

Now, the actor could possibly face another trial, as Jabbari recently filed new claims of battery, assault, and malicious prosecution, among others, against him in a New York federal court.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, she also  claimed that Majors subjected her to a "pattern of pervasive domestic abuse that began in 2021 and extended through 2023."

In her filing, the British dancer also claimed that Majors went about defaming and "publicly abusing her reputation" after he was charged in court for the earlier case.

"Following his arrest, Majors immediately implemented an extensive media campaign smearing Grace, claiming that he was 'completely innocent,' 'is probably the victim,' that he 'did not assault her whatsoever,' and that 'this woman was having an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital,'" Jabbari's suit read.

The earlier case was brought against Majors by the state of New York. This allows Jabbari to file her own set of charges against the actor, even though they share similarities.

Jabbari's lawsuit against Majors comes after two former girlfriends accused the actor of physical and emotional abuse during the course of their relationship.

The allegations from Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper, who claim to have once dated Majors, were documented in a New York Times report from earlier this year.

Hooper claimed in the report that the "Loki" star abused her emotionally. However, Duncan alleged that Majors was physically abusive to her and that his actions caused her to get isolated from her loved ones.

Duncan said, "You lose your sense of worth. She added: "At first you feel, 'Oh, I'm being loved, and then you feel, 'I'm being erased.'"

Majors' lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, has since denied the physical abuse allegations in a statement, noting that "these relationships were between young drama students, and all began with mutual intensity."

Jabbari's claims of defamation and public abuse partly come from Majors' bombshell interview with ABC, his first after the guilty verdict.

He told his interviewer that he was "shocked" and afraid by the decision of the jury and that he planned to appeal it.

"I'm standing there, and the verdict comes down. I say, 'How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution's evidence, let alone our evidence? How is that possible?'" Majors remarked at the time, per The Guardian.

The actor also revealed that he had no idea how his ex-Jabbari got the wound on her body after their altercation.

"I wish to God I knew. That would give me clarity, that would give me some type of peace about it," the former Marvel star said, adding that he had never hit her all through their two-plus-year relationship.

For the domestic violence case, Majors was scheduled to be sentenced on February 6. However, it was recently postponed to April 8 after the "Creed III" actor's lawyers filed several post-conviction motions.

According to reports, the actor could face up to a year in jail when his sentencing date finally arrives.

The possible jail term comes in addition to a series of career losses the actor has faced before and after the guilty verdict. The actor was also dropped from his enigmatic role as Kang the Conqueror in the MCU, which he was expected to reprise in the MCU's next phase projects, "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" and "Avengers: Secret Wars."

He was also removed from a Searchlight project, a biopic about Otis Redding, and two upcoming movies, "48 Hours in Vegas" and "The Man in My Basement."
