Joey King Reveals Nasty Bruise After Patricia Arquette Whacked Her With Golden Globe Trophy!

The 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards will forever leave their mark on actress Joey King, because she took one in the forehead from co-star Patricia Arquette! The star of "The Act," revealed she may not have walked away with a Golden Globe, as she was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress In A Mini-series or Motion Picture Made for Television, but she did walk away with an injury after Arquette accidentally smashed her Golden Globe into the young star's head.

Ouch!

"Not everyone can say Patricia Arquette accidentally hit them in the head with her Golden Globe. But I can," 20-year-old King wrote Monday morning on Instagram.

It was clearly a wild night after Arquette took home the big win for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "The Act," beating out stars like Meryl Streep and Helena Bonham Carter.

It's unclear when the injury on King went down, but we're guessing it's about the time Arquette threw on a horned Viking helmet at the wild after-parties in Hollywood.

Patricia Arquette's Speech

In true Patricia Arquette fashion, she used her time on stage while accepting her award to talk about bigger events going on in the world and urged people to take action both politically and environmentally.

"I’m so grateful to be here and celebrate this, but also I know tonight, January 5, 2020, we’re not going to look back on this night in the history books. We will see a country on the brink of war, the United States of America. A president tweeting out a threat of 52 bombs, including cultural sites. Young people risking their lives traveling across the world. People not knowing if bombs are going to drop on their kids’ heads. And the continent of Australia is on fire.”

Wowzers

Another big takeaway from the Golden Globes, was the Golden Globes showed by some of the stars with busty fashion taking over the red carpet. Arquette was praised on social media for her cleavage-baring look, and the Internet just about lost its mind when she got together for a photo-op with iconic curvy star, Salma Hayek.

Joey King was also applauded as one of the best dressed of the night for her fashion choice, as the young star stunned in a black and white Iris Van Herpen dress that gave off a crazy optical illusion effect.

To be fair, Arquette and Hayek's outfits were just as hypnotizing.
