Jo Bo-Ah is a popular South Korean actress known for playing a diverse set of roles throughout her career. She landed a major role in 2012 with the tvN series Shut Up: Flower Boy Band. Since then, the actress has gone on to star in many popular series, including My Strange Hero, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, Military Prosecutor Doberman, and several others. Jo Bo-Ah gained significant attention and applause after her appearance in the highly popular series Destined With You, opposite fellow co-star Rowoon.

Most recently, multiple news outlets reported that Jo Bo-Ah is in discussions to star in a new K-drama, Knock Off (working title), opposite Kim Soo-Hyun. Destined With You

Destined With You is a popular K-drama that premiered on August 23, 2023. It follows the story of a lawyer, Jang Shin-Yu (Rowoon), who is bound by a centuries-old curse. While it makes his life miserable, Shin-Yu crosses paths with a civil servant, Lee Hong-Jo (Jo Bo-Ah), who holds the key to his curse. Tale of the Nine-Tailed

Tale of the Nine-Tailed is a fantasy K-drama that follows the story of a mystical creature, the nine-tailed fox Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-Wook). While living in his human form, he eradicates any dangerous beings that bring harm to the world. However, his purpose remains to find the reincarnation of his lost love. Lee Yeon crosses paths with a passionate TV producer, Nam Ji-Ah (Jo Bo-Ah). The two eventually discover their past-life connection, and Lee Yeon finds his true love. The series premiered on October 7, 2020, and is available to stream on Viki, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video.

Military Prosecutor Doberman

Military Prosecutor Doberman follows the story of two military prosecutors, Do Bae-Man (Ahn Bo-Hyun) and Cha Woo-In (Jo Bo-Ah). While the former joins only because he would be able to make more money, Woo-In joins the profession to seek revenge. When these two opposite personalities with two different purposes collaborate on a case, they encounter a variety of struggles. Ultimately, they find personal and professional growth. The drama premiered on February 28, 2022, and is available to stream on Viki and Netflix.

My Strange Hero

My Strange Hero follows the story of high school student Kang Bok-Soo (Yoo Seung-Ho), who gets falsely accused of committing violence that harmed fellow student Oh Se-Ho (Kwak Dong-Yeon). After his first love, Son Soo-Jung (Jo Bo-Ah), and Oh Se-Ho testify against him, the school expels Bok-Soo. Years later, he returns to the school with the idea of seeking revenge, but his life changes after reconnecting with Soo-Jung. The series began airing on December 10, 2018.
