Jennifer Turpin Shares Details About Fall Wedding: 'The Best Thing Ever'
Turpin announced her engagement in August and posted footage of the moment her future husband popped the question

On Tuesday, April 16 Turpin, who escaped the infamous "House of Horrors" along with her siblings in 2018, shared details about her upcoming wedding in a candid Instagram Live session.
She revealed that she and her fiancé, whose name she hasn't publicly revealed, plan to say their vows in October in front of 100 guests.
"Wedding plans are going amazing," Turpin told her Instagram followers. "All the big stuff is out of the way. I got to do little things like dress alterations."
Turpin also published photos of a rose she said her fiancé recently bought her on Instagram Tuesday.
Her future husband, whom she called "a chef," popped the question in August. She shared footage of the sweet moment via Instagram and simply captioned the moment, "#proposal #love #loveofmylife."
She confessed during Tuesday's livestream that the romance was unexpected.
"I was not looking, it was just meant to be," she said. "I'm not going to lie, I was afraid to fall in love and reminded myself and hey, I can trust myself this is the best thing ever."
He made a cameo during her Instagram Live session. "Why do I like Jenn? Because she is sweet, kind-hearted and we had a lot of fun when we met," he gushed.

Turpin became reflective when asked by a follower if she wanted to have kids.
"It's not in the plans," she replied. "If you know my story, I went through a lot. I had a lot taken away," explaining how she essentially raised some of her siblings.
"It's time to live my life," she added. "If I get pregnant, I'll be happy. I know I'll be a good mom. [But kids] it's not in the plans."
As for her wedding guest list, Turpin explained she'll be inviting "those who have stood by my side. Those who have been with me through thick and thin...very important people."
In November, she celebrated her engagement, showing off her ring with her "chosen sisters."
"I can’t believe that me and 2 of my chosen sisters got engaged this year!!!" she wrote alongside the sentimental snap. "Love y’all and so excited we can share this amazing moment together!"
Turpin confirmed on Instagram Live that she talks to all her siblings but does not talk to her parents.
Back in 2018, Jennifer and her 12 siblings were rescued from imprisonment within their own home at the hands of their parents, David and Louise Turpin.
Jordan Turpin, who was 17 when she escaped her abusive parents' home and got help for herself and her siblings, used a deactivated cell phone and called 911. She told the operator that the kids had been raised in captivity, where they were regularly beaten and starved by their parents.
With the help of law enforcement, Jordan was able to free her siblings. Their parents — who later pleaded guilty to 14 felony counts, including cruelty to an adult-dependent, child cruelty, torture, and false imprisonment — were sentenced to life in prison for their abuse.
