Jennifer Lopez's Pre-Met Gala Gown Featured the Sexiest Plunging Neckline

'Twas the night before the 2024 Met Gala, when all through New York City, the stars were out—including Jennifer Lopez who was already serving her sartorial best. 

On Sunday, J.Lo attended Anna Wintour's pre-Met Gala dinner in Manhattan's West Village alongside her fellow co-chairs Zendaya, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth, and for the occasion, she blessed us with a spectacular style moment ahead of fashion's biggest night. Wearing a black velvet gown with lots of sexy details. Lopez's Diana Qerimi column dress featured a plunging neckline with a sculptural bustier-style bodice in the front, and in the back, a slit that showed off her toned legs.

The singer-slash-actress accessorized with towering platform heels and diamond jewelry that matched the crystal droplets on her dress. She pulled her honey-colored hair into a sleek ponytail and finished off her glam with smoky eye makeup, pink lipgloss, and a bronzy contour.

Tonight's Met Gala will mark J.Lo's 14th appearance—her first was at 2004's “Dangerous Liaisons: Fashion and Furniture in the 18th Century”—and while there's no telling what she'll unveil while walking up the museum's famed steps, you can bet it will be iconic. Last year, she shut down the red carpet in a pink-and-black Ralph Lauren halter neck gown that was both underboob and ab-baring and featured two dramatic flowing fishtails from behind. She accessorized with a netted fascinator, black opera gloves, and, of course, diamonds.
