Jennifer Lopez wipes the floor with Jimmy Fallon in ridiculous dance-off

Jennifer Lopez showed off her fly moves in Fast Dance-Off on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Questlove of The Roots picked out what he thought to be the “least danceable” songs from the ‘70s, meaning ultraslow songs, and Lopez and Fallon had to dance really fast to them. If that sounds ridiculous, it was — but in the best way possible.

Lopez went first, going hard to “Three Times a Lady,” by the Commodores. When Lopez heard Lionel Richie’s silky smooth voice she broke into it like she was at the club with her girls. Not sure if that’s what Richie had in mind when he wrote the ballad.

Next, Fallon got his chance dancing to “Babe” by Styx. After a slow start, Fallon broke out into a frantic Running Man, then what can only be described as disco dancing. He even threw in what appeared to be a mix of Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger. Unfortunately, Fallon’s quick steps lacked rhythm.

Though Lopez clearly had the contest won, she went again, which took even her by surprise. This time she pulled out her best hip-hop moves for Richard Harris’s version of “MacArthur Park.” Fallon knew he had no chance so stopped the performance and gave her the contest.

Lopez was gracious enough to share her victory dance with Fallon, with the two dancing to the classic “Reunited” the way Peaches and Herb surely intended: superfast.
