Jennifer Lopez has been focusing on family time.

The Marry Me actress gave a few updates on life as an engaged woman in the latest edition of her personal fan newsletter, On The JLo. While most of the letter focused on health and beauty, the multi-hyphenate also spoke on her current work-life balance and how she prioritizes her family while running her busy Hollywood career.

"It's super important for me, especially now, to prioritize my personal life and not just my work life. When I had kids 14 years ago was when I started thinking differently," she wrote, referring to her twins Max and Emme Muñiz. "Things changed for me. Little by little, my perspective has turned into a healthier work-life balance."

"Now that I'm getting married, it's about my family first and foremost," Lopez continued. "It’s about having enough time to be the woman, the mother, the partner and the person that I need to be for the important people in my life. It must be a very special project if it’s going to take time away from my family."

The "Jenny from the Block" singer also shared some exclusive photos from a dinner date with Ben Affleck. In the pics, which you can sign up to see here, the couple engages in some light PDA, including Lopez kissing the Argo actor's cheek. The pop star also wears a green velvet outfit, while Affleck sports a black suit sans tie.

"Oh by the way, green is still my lucky color..." Lopez wrote alongside the photos.

The On the JLo newsletter is the star's preferred way to share relationship news, including her engagement announcement and a follow-up post giving details of the romantic night. She also explained the significance of her lucky color green, the same color as her engagement ring.

"I always say the color green is my lucky color," she wrote. "Maybe you can remember a certain green dress. I've realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green. It may be a coincidence, maybe not," she wrote.
