Do you remember where you were when Maid in Manhattan, starring Jennifer Lopez, dropped in theaters? Neither do I, but I remember how chic and pulled-together Lopez was in the film. What caught my attention the most, even as a child, was her sleek pulled-back hairstyle, now dubbed "luxe hair."

Of course, the person who revamped the look is the hair king himself, Andrew Fitzsimons. Fitzsimons coined the look as "luxe hair," and that's what we're rolling with. Besides Enough, this has to be my favorite JLo movie. If you all reading this could only hear the piercing scream I let out when Lopez hit my Instagram timeline sporting the richer and modernized version of the iconic hairstyle from the movie. In the original film, her bun was styled higher but she still gave every inch of Marisa Ventura — only with diamonds and more money.

As a male beauty editor, these are the times when I'm sad that I can't recreate the look for myself. However, if you're blessed to have an inch of tresses, we've included more of Lopez's look below for inspiration. You can also catch a mini tutorial on how to get the look on Fitzsimons page.
