Jenna Dewan Reveals How Her Third Pregnancy Is Bringing Her Childhood Dream to Fruition

Jenna Dewan‘s third pregnancy has been a bit harder than her first two, but it’s all worth it because baby no. 3 is bringing one of her childhood dreams to life.

The Step Up alum chatted about becoming a mom of three with People on Tuesday at the Baby2Baby Mother’s Day Celebration Presented by Aquaphor in Los Angeles. Dewan shares her eldest, 10-year-old daughter Everly, with her ex-husband Channing Tatum, and her youngest, 4-year-old son Callum, with her fiancé Steve Kazee. As she prepares to welcome another child with Kazee, Dewan said she realized she’s on her way to achieving a lifelong family goal.

“When I was a kid, I always had this vision — it was so specific,” the actress began. “It was the Christmas tree around Christmas, and just kids and family and just chaos. Happy chaos all around. And I realized the other day, I was like, oh, in my own way, I am creating [that]. So that’s exciting for me,” Dewan said. She added that, as an only child herself, being able “to experience a bigger family is really exciting.”

Though it’s a happy time in her life, The Rookie star confessed that this pregnancy has been slightly more difficult than her previous two. “Third pregnancy while chasing two other kids around definitely makes you a little more tired,” Dewan said. She continued, “I find crawling into bed at 9 p.m. is definitely different this pregnancy. But overall, everything’s been going well. And it’s been wonderful. But I’m without a doubt a little bit more tired.”

Thankfully, Kazee has been doing what he can to make the experience as easy as possible for his future wife. Dewan gushed about her fiancé, telling the outlet, “He is really good with cravings and also amazing with helping out with Eve and Callum with their schedules. And he’s constantly reminding me to rest, which is really nice. He’s amazing in that way,” she said.

Though Dewan first met Kazee after one of his 2012 performances in Once on Broadway, they didn’t become romantically involved until 2018, a few months after she and Tatum announced their separation following nine years of marriage. Kazee proposed to Dewan in 2020, and a month after sharing the news, the couple welcomed their first child together.
