Jenna Bush Hager on 'Today With Hoda & Jenna.'

Jenna Bush Hager shared a story that is the perfect real-life example of the expression, "It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt."

During Thursday's (April 4) episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna, the 42-year-old TV personality and co-host Hoda Kotb were catching up on an interview with Kristen Wiig that recently aired on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

In it, Wiig recounted a time she chipped her tooth at a Saturday Night Live afterparty.

"I thought Kristen Wiig and I had a few things in common, turns out we also have that," Bush Hager shared per Decider. "Well, I was in a drinking and dancing accident."

"Years ago, before children—B.C.—my friend Molly Devine, in our old apartment… spun me around," Bush Hager said, explaining that she was wearing tights without shoes, so her feet "were slippery."

The former first daughter continued, recalling that once her friend let go, she "lunged forward on the floor" and hit her front teeth.

Kotb, 59, then inquired about the restorative work she needed done, asking specifically, "How many fake teeth do you have?"

"Four. The first four," Bush Hager responded, joking, "The ones I get lipstick on."

The story didn't end there, as the mom of three went on, clarifying to her co-host that her teeth seemed fine at first. "I got up and I was like, ‘Ah, are my teeth out?’ They weren’t."

“But two days later, I was at my sister’s work and this lovely intern goes, ‘Honey, you have some gray stuff on your teeth,’" she shared. "I killed four roots—no, actually, Molly killed four roots."

Bush Hager is known for her candid storytelling on the NBC morning talk show she's been involved with for years. A few recent topics she's discussed include a mortifying incident that occurred while using her employer-provided gym, a car accident she was involved in that left her car totaled, and the "rage" she felt over a family disagreement early on in her marriage.
