Jax Taylor Opening Two New Bars: ‘I Could Be the Next Lisa Vanderpump’

The Valley star Jax Taylor already has one bar in LA and is planning to open two more. Someone fancies himself an entrepreneur.

Though on the show, Jax is still struggling to get the doors open at Jax’s Studio City, in actuality, the bar opened In October 2023. And now that his first business is off the ground, Jax plans are in the works to launch two more.

He has big dreams about following in former boss Lisa Vanderpump’s Louboutins. (What? They make men’s shoes, too.) Jax imagines himself as the star of his own Vanderpump Rules spinoff, with cameras trailing him and his staff.

Jax’s expanding empire

When The Daily Dish asked how things were going with his LA-based sports bar, Jax claimed things were going “very, very well.” In fact, he already has plans to expand.

“We’re opening, actually, two more locations,” he elaborated, “one in California, and one is out of state. I can’t say exactly where, but yeah. We’re really excited.”

Even though Jax and his wife of five years, Brittany Cartwright, are currently separated, she still intends to be active in the bar. Maintaining that the sports bar is “the one thing keeping us really strong,” only time will tell whether Brittany will be involved with the two new establishments. Also unclear is whether Jax’s three business partners in Jax’s Studio City will have any financial investment in the new bars.

As his business grows, Jax hopes to see it featured more on the show. Nothing’s better than free advertising, am I right?

“I hope The Valley can follow more of Jax’s Studio City,” he said. “That’s kind of the dream, right? I could be the next Lisa Vanderpump.”

In the meantime, his new bar is thriving. “It’s doing so well, and I’m so happy for the bar,” he explained. “I’m so happy for the employees. Everyone is having a good time. It’s a dream come true to have a bar, especially a sports bar, ’cause I’m such a sports guy. So yeah, it’s doing really well. We’re happy about it.”
