Jason Momoa is putting an end to the rumors that he and his ex-wife, Lisa Bonet, have rekindled their relationship.

While walking the red carpet at the 94th Academy Awards, the Dune actor told Access Hollywood that he and Bonet are still family, even if they are no longer husband and wife.

"We're not back together. We're family, you know?" he told the outlet. "We have two beautiful children together. We're not getting back together. We're family forever."

The couple announced their split with a joint statement posted to Instagram this past January.

"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring," the statement read. "And so~ We share our Family news~ That we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it's newsworthy ~ But so that~ as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty. The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other ~to be who we are learning to become."

The statement continued to explain that they both remain devoted to their family. "Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children," it read. "Teaching our Children What's possible ~ Living the Prayer May Love Prevail ✨ J & L."

The couple, who reportedly first met in 2005, share 14-year-old daughter Lola Momoa and 13-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf Momoa. They officially married in October 2017. (Bonet also shares her first daughter, Zoë Kravitz, with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.)
