Janhvi Kapoor Gives Update on Devara Dialogues

Bollywood diva Janhvi Kapoor is all set to add another feather to her career hat with her upcoming film Devara: Part 1. The Jr NTR starrer will mark her debut in the Telugu film industry. Much like her fans, Janhvi seems to be pretty excited about the upcoming film. In a recent interview, she revealed a major update on the movie and how she has been preparing for her role.

JR NTR, one of the most prominent Telugu stars, is returning to the big screens after over two years. The actor was last seen shining in theaters as one of the leads in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. However, the viewers will have to wait longer as Devara: part 1 has been facing several delays. It was set to release on April 5, 2024, but it will now be out on October 10.

Much of the movie is yet to be filmed, and Janhvi Kapoor recently provided an update on its progress.

Janhvi Kapoor reveals update on Devara’s shoot

The Dhadak actress recently appeared in an interview with The Week and talked about her debut Telugu project. When asked if the film’s shoot had been completed, the actress said, “No, we are still shooting for it. We have some songs left.” Janhvi further mentioned that she had received her lines for the shoot.

Janhvi Kapoor said, “I just got my dialogues last night and all I want to do is sit down in my room and learn my lines. That’s all I want to do. I don’t want to talk in English, I don’t want to talk about anything else, I don’t want to talk about my future plans. I just want to do the work that I need to do.” Janhvi confirmed that she could not learn Telugu but is dedicated to doing well in the film.

Koratala Siva directs Devara: Part 1, and Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts are bankrolling it. Apart from Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan also plays a crucial role in the movie.
