Jr. NTR’s Devara New Release Date Announced

The highly anticipated upcoming release of Jr. NTR’s Devara has finally gotten its official release date, as the film is set to hit the big screens in October 2024. Earlier Devara was expected to initiate its theatrical run on April 5, 2024. However, the film faced a delay due to the post-processing VFX work and the leg injury of Saif Ali Khan, who plays a pivotal role in the film.

The movie is set to be released in theaters in two parts. The film’s first part is titled Devara Part-1, which seemingly indicates that the film will have a sequel soon. Even Koratala Siva, the director and writer of the film, also confirmed that the film will be in installments.

He stated, “I have come to tell you an important thing about the Devara movie. When we wrote the story of Devara, we were very excited when we told NTR. Because there is a new world, massiveness, very strong characters, and emotions in this movie. We started shooting with that confidence. However, that world is ever-expanding. We felt wonderful. That’s why the enthusiasm is double now than before.

However, we all, including the editor, feel that even a single scene and a single dialogue cannot be removed by saying that the length should not increase. We thought we should take the right time to establish such a huge story, strong characters, and emotions. It seems correct to tell the Devara movie in two parts. That’s why we felt that Devara movie should be made in two parts”, he added.

When will Devara: Part 1 be released in theaters?

Talking about the official release date, the makers just announced that Devara will hit theaters on October 10, 2024. In addition, an official poster featuring Jr. NTR also surfaced, which generated anticipation and excitement among the viewers.

Besides Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan, Devara assembles with the star-studded cast including
Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Narain, and among others.

For those unaware, the digital rights of Devara have already been sold out to the gigantic streaming platform Netflix. Overall, it will be interesting to witness what will happen when Devara strikes the big screens and whether Jr. NTR will get another massive hit after the success of the RRR movie.
