James Kennedy Drags Tom Sandoval and His Band: ‘Is That the Trumpet or Him?’

James Kennedy has made it clear that he’s no fan of Tom Sandoval. However, the man has really stopped pulling his punches at this point.

More recently, the two have been at odds over their attempted music careers. Any observer can see that James has been doing well as a DJ recently, even playing Coachella. Tom, meanwhile, has been doing what he can.

With the two at each other’s throats over music, James even sent a shady text ahead of the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion. Now, James has let everyone know his feelings on Tom’s music career.

Brock tries to defend Tom, James shuts him down

In Part 2 of the May 14 After Show, James discussed his initial plans to open for Tom’s El Rey performance. James said he offered to open as “a good friend.” Unfortunately, Tom pushed him “over the edge.” In reflecting on the moment he walked out, James said, “I was like, ‘You know what, Tom? F*ck this stupid band and f*ck you.’”

He continued, questioning why the band had so many members, especially new members. James reemphasized that he was just trying to be a good friend. “I showed up still to the show. Even giggled a little bit with Schwartz. How could I not? … I mean, who’s not gonna laugh a little bit when he f*cking breaks key in a high pitch?”

After imitating Tom’s apparent voice crack, James asked, “Is that the trumpet or him? I can’t tell.” Brock Davies, seated next to James, credited Tom for living out his ambitions. “Cool, good for him,” James interjected. “Look, when it comes to cover bands … I take art in finding a fantastic cover band. … I pray to God that that cover band is not Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras.”
