Insiders Claim That Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez’s Honeymoon Phase Is ‘Definitely Over’ And ‘Moody’ Ben Is Struggling In The Relationship

Ever since Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married in 2022 after a decades-long on-again-off-again relationship, the state of their relationship has been in the spotlight. What with Affleck’s affinity for looking miserable in photos and accusations of being a drama queen being flown at JLo, it’s not surprising to hear that there’s trouble in paradise.

JLo & Ben Affleck Sail Past The Honeymoon Phase

According to sources close to the pair, the tension is coming from the physical distance between them. As Affleck films the sequel to The Accountant in California, Lopez is tied to NYC with various different projects, and the thousands of miles between them is starting to have an affect on their relationship.

"This is the first long stretch they've spent apart in a while," an insider told Ok! magazine. "And they're both dealing with it in different ways." While Affleck has been having the time of his life focusing on work, Lopez is apparently only focusing on when she gets to see her husband again.

"The honeymoon is definitely over," the source continued. "The feeling is if they do want to stay married, they both need to make some adjustments in their behavior."

Ben Affleck Is Struggling In His Relationship With JLo

According to sources, Lopez "wants constant affirmation from him that she's loved and adored." Maybe she's feeling a little insecure after her new album and documentary, This Is Me... Now flopped majorly?

"But she's not getting much of that now," the source continued. "And Ben gets defensive and moody."

Another behavior change that JLo wants from Ben? To quit his smoking. Even though she's banned him from smoking in their house and he stands outside to smoke now, she wants him to go the extra mile and quit for good. "JLo loves Ben, but she's tired of his nasty cigarettes," the source says. "She put up with his smoking at first because it's his only vice left and she didn't want to be a nag, but she can't stand it." We wonder if there's any behavior changes Ben would like to see from JLo...
