Insider Claims Amal Clooney 'Isn't Impressed' by Brad Pitt's Girlfriend Ines de Ramon

Sources claim Amal Clooney is not a huge fan of Brad Pitt’s girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, which might make things a little awkward for her husband, George Clooney, who has a well-documented close friendship with Pitt.

A source who claims to have insider knowledge spoke exclusively to In Touch to allege that Amal, 46, “isn’t impressed” by Brad’s girlfriend of two years, a jewelry designer from Switzerland. “She thinks Ines doesn’t really work that hard in the jewelry business and tries to be someone that she’s not,” claims the insider. “She considers her a social climber out to snag a rich man.”

The source claims that Ines and Brad, 60, began dating soon after Ines split from her famous ex-husband Paul Wesley. Ines and Brad were first linked in November 2022 when they were photographed leaving a Bono concert together.

“Amal just hopes Brad’s careful and doesn’t move too fast,” the source claims, adding that Ines has allegedly noticed the UN lawyer’s frostiness. “She’s tried for Brad’s sake to be friendly but all she’s getting is the brush-off,” the insider claimed. “She knows how close Brad is to George, so she’s not making a big deal of it — she’s not stupid.”

Ines and the Vampire Diaries actor announced they were separating after three years of marriage in September 2022. Paul filed for divorce in February 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Their divorce was finalized in March 2024 and went “uncontested,” with a note that both “parties have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is being or has been submitted to the court.”

Ines and Brad have an extremely low-key relationship and have only been photographed out and about on a handful of occasions but insiders have insisted that their relationship is going from strength to strength.

In February, sources told People that the couple had moved in together: “They are going very strong and she is happier than ever.”
