Update, 4/11/20: Kristen Stewart's girlfriend, screenwriter Dylan Meyer, posted the couple's first Instagram official photo together in celebration of Stewart's 30th birthday on April 9.

"It’s my absolute favorite person's birthday and I’m wishing everyone the volume of beautiful feeling I feel toward her," Meyer wrote. "It's a short ride on this earth, spend your time with someone that inspires you to be the best version of yourself and lights your shit on fire."

The two have been dating since late last summer, after Stewart broke things off with her on-again-off again girlfriend, Stella Maxwell.

Original, 8/28/19: E! got a rare glimpse into Kristen Stewart's love life, her new relationship with screenwriter Dylan Meyer, and what's going on between her and her on-off ex Stella Maxwell.

Stewart and Maxwell were photographed kissing each other last month. They're off again for now, but that doesn't mean they're off for good. E!'s source said that "it will always be very easy for Kristen to fall back with Stella because they have history and an attraction. The chemistry is there and they know each other so well." The outlet pointed out that they have split twice in the past 12 months alone.

For now though, Stewart is all in with Meyer. (Page Six has photos of them kissing this month here.) "Kristen is spending time with Dylan and very happy about it," the source said. "She was seeing Stella for a little bit while it worked, but now she has moved on with Dylan." That source added that Meyer and Stewart are "on both coasts together," and their relationship has a natural ease.

"Kristen isn't holding back at all and loves being with her," the source said. "They are moving quickly and always together. "

Back in 2017, Stewart told Harper's Bazaar UK that she has had genuine feelings for everyone she has publicly been with. "I've been deeply in love with everyone I've dated," she said. "Did you think I was faking it? I've always really embraced a duality. And really, truly, believed in it and never felt confused or struggling. I just didn't like getting made fun of."
