Hunter Schafer Is a Work of Art at the 2024 'GQ' Global Creativity Awards

Few celebrities are worthy of being crowned as "masters of serving" when it comes to red-carpet fashion — and Hunter Schafer no doubt finds herself on that exclusive list.
On Thursday, she hit the step-and-repeat at the 2024 GQ Global Creativity Awards wearing the most talked-about look of the night. Styled by Dara Allen, Schafer took the idea of fashion imitating art quite literally in a custom sculpted Marni gown by Francesco Risso, hand-painted to look like an Impressionist painting.

The dress is covered with thick vinylic strokes of pale yellow, light blue and charcoal, and boasts raw edges that mimic the look of canvas . Always one to pay attention to the details, Schafer completed the look with hand-painted pointed pumps — as if she had walked out of a piece of art.
