On the hunt for Easter fun? We've got 'eggsactly' what you need.
As Easter approaches, the next couple of weekends are going to be packed with basketfuls of egg hunts and other fun, most of which is free for kids. You might even meet the Easter Bunny.
Please note that some events have age limits for egg hunts, and kids should bring their own baskets. If a cost is involved to participate, it is listed with the individual event.
Resurrection Scavenger Hunt
When: Saturday March 23, 10 a.m.-noon
Where: Thorington Road Baptist Church, 450 Ray Thorington Road, Montgomery
Info: Come on a journey through Jesus' death and resurrection. Kids will receive a reminder of each step Jesus took throughout that time as a reminder to what Easter really means. They will have a light breakfast served at 10 a.m. Kids through age 4 will learn through the resurrection eggs and will have an Easter Egg Hunt as well as a craft. Two tours of kids, K-2nd and 3rd-5th, will be led by tour guides through each area of the story of Jesus. They will have fun crafts and prizes.
Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, March 23, noon
Where: Messiah Church, 334 Old Farm Lane S., Prattville
Info: Everyone is invited. They'll have hot dogs, drinks, and a bouncy slide.
Easter Egg Hunt and Luau
When: Saturday, March 23, noon-3 p.m.
Where: Cloud 9 Aviation, 1450 Aviation Way, Prattville
Info: This is a benefit for Easterseals Central Alabama, presented by Cloud 9 Aviation and the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce. This is for children age 10 and under. For a $5 donation, every child will receive an Easter basket, a lei, a beach ball, and a coloring book. They will have luau snacks and Hawaiian Punch, and games for the children. Food truck will be on site. The Easter Bunny will land at 1 p.m., then a helicopter will drop 2,500 stuffed eggs for the children to hunt. In order to keep it fair for the smaller children, every child will get a wristband at the door, color-coded to their age. They will only pick up eggs the color of the band they are wearing. Hopping Our Way Through Easter
When: Saturday, March 23, noon to 3 p.m.
Where: The Sickle Cell Foundation of the River Region office, 3180 Selma Highway, Montgomery
Info: This event is for children affected by Sickle Cell Disease and will include an Easter egg hunt, food, and educational activities. For more information, please call Beverly Freeman, Activity Support Coordinator/Counselor, at 334-286-9122 or 1-888-767-4255.

When: Sunday, March 24, 10 a.m.
Where: First Pentecostal Church, 879 Washington Ferry Road, Prattville
Info: Egg hunt is for ages 12 and under Bring your own baskets.
Glow-in-the-dark Egg Hunt
When: Sunday, March 24, 10 a.m.
Where: Evangel Church Prattville Campus, 972 McQueen Smith Road S., Prattville
Info: Day filled with exciting Easter activities and teaching for kids.

Info: An Easter “eggstravaganza” for the entire community, with inflatables, glitter tattoos, cotton candy, and a great big outdoor egg hunt for three different age groups — toddler to 12. Lunch will be provided. Bring a picnic blanket or eat in the fellowship hall.
Jesus is the Light Glow Egg Hunt
When: Sunday, March 24, 5 p.m.
Where: First Methodist Church, 302 W. Tuskeena St., Wetumpka
Info: Free community event. They will have food, Frios pops, games, giveaways, a special kids message, and age appropriate Easter egg hunts for kids through 6th grade. Be sure to bring your Easter baskets.
Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, March 30, 9:30 a.m.
Where: Millbrook Presbyterian Church, 3480 Main St., Millbrook
Info: Easter Egg hunt for all age kids. Bring Easter baskets. Pastor B will lead an Easter devotion and they’ll have a light brunch.
Toddler Time Egg Hunt
When: Saturday March 30, 10 a.m.-noon
Where: Launch Prattville, 891 Boardroom Drive, Prattville
Info: A bouncing good time for ages 5 and under, featuring special guests the Easter Bunny and Launch’s mascot Joey. $15 for one toddler and one adult. Bring your baskets and let the little ones fill them up with eggs scattered around the courts.
Easter Eggstravaganza
When: Saturday, March 30, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where: Blount Cultural Park, 3 Festival Drive, Montgomery
Info: Free event with egg hunt, food trucks and photos with the Easter Bunny.

Info: Easter Egg hunt for kids age 1-11. Bring baskets.
Pike Road Community Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, March 30, 3-5 p.m.
Where: The Well, 1001 Marler Road, Pike Road
Info: Presented by Century Church. Bring your Easter basket and invite your friends and neighbors for an afternoon of egg-hunting, inflatables, games, crafts, face painting, hayrides to the petting zoo, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. They will also have food and shaved ice available for purchase.
