Here's what to know: Just like previous years, Costco will be closed on Christmas Day in 2021. Sorry, shoppers! Make sure you buy everything you need before December 25. Or, if you're really tired of cooking in general, visit one of several restaurants open on Christmas Day. (If you do, however, need to go on a last-minute run the day before, Costco will be open on Christmas Eve in 2021, though its hours may be limited and vary by location.)

Looking ahead to New Year's, you should also know that Costco will be closed on New Year's Day in 2022. You probably won't need to drop by on the first of the year anyway...but still, buying a few bottles of bubbly on December 31 doesn't sound like a bad idea to us! Costco is open on New Year's Eve in 2021, but stores will likely operate on reduced hours. Stop by early to make sure you can get what you need.
