From hitting In-N-Out Burger to early(ish) bedtimes, what celebs did after the Emmys after-parties

Awards shows can seem endless even in the best-case scenario — that would be at home on the couch with great snacks and Wi-Fi. Actually attending one, like Sunday’s Emmys, and getting ready, walking the red carpet, watching the ceremony, and hitting the after-parties, is practically an all-day affair. So we love these social shares — of stars from Aziz Ansari to Sofía Vergara — taken at the end of the night before they turned into pumpkins.

Stars love a late night run to In-N-Out Burger — especially in formal attire. Ansari, winner for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for Master of None, did the honors last night. A fan captured him at the counter of the fast food joint with Emmy in hand.

The Modern Family star is the type who can keep a party going forever — and she’s been known to at Emmys after-parties past. (Flashback to 2014.) But last night was a relatively early evening for Sofía because she had a really early call time.

“The night is young but I’m not!!” the funny lady captioned this photo of her driving away … with her gorgeous dress in the door. “5am call time tomorrow! Goodnight Emmys2017.” We hope her dress wasn’t hurt in the taking of this photo.

Like Ansari, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, who attended their first Emmys together, had food on the brain. And not just any food: soul food. They hit up a restaurant and captured all the delicious eats they ordered for Instagram stories, while noting that none of it was on their diets — but that wasn’t going to stop them.

Debra Messing, who has been working on the Will & Grace reboot, admitted that after the show and the HBO after-party, she “ran out of gas. Night all,” she wrote while reclining, in her dress, in a kitchen. Tired? Maybe, but her makeup was still flawless.

Ran out of gas. Night all.

Kiernan Shipka had the best after-after-party. The Mad Men alum switched into some comfy shoes and hung with her “main girl,” dog Frankie Shipka, at home.

#Emmys2017 so fun, now home w my main girl ❤️

And Busy Philipps, who has become famous for her Instagram Stories (“Hey, guys…”) took to hers when she got home to talk about how people came up to her at parties to compliment her on her Instagram Stories. Basically, she wasn’t sure how she felt about it — and recorded about 10 different stories to talk about it.

Well, it sounds like the night ended on a better note for her than it did after the Golden Globes, when she got locked out of her house in the rain. So there’s that.
