Kelly meets high school junior Lauren who is going above and beyond for her Iowa community by growing and donating over 7,000 pounds of healthy vegetables to those who don't have access to fresh produce. Lauren dials-in and shares how she harvests produce from her vegetable garden and distributes it to nursing homes, women's shelters, churches and more. Pilot Pen awards Lauren $1,000 for the amazing work she's doing in her community.

A feature Google demoed at its I/O confab yesterday, using its generative AI technology to scan voice calls in real-time for conversational patterns associated with financial scams, has sent a collective shiver down the spines of privacy and security experts who are warning the feature represents the thin end of the wedge. This is essentially client-side scanning: A nascent technology that's generated huge controversy in recent years in relation to efforts to detect child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or even grooming activity on messaging platforms.
